UPDATE TO THE ROCK CLIMBING GEAR FOR SALE!

For your convenience I have added all of my rock gear that is for sale to a shopping cart. You can view and buy the gear directly for the ArkansasClimbing website. So head on over to:

Store.ArkansasClimbing.com

Shop to your hearts content, or at least till I run out of gear. There is a flat rate shipping on all orders of $10.00. The more you order the better the deal is.

END UPDATE

Due to the break down of my body, mostly arthritis in my hands and knees and plica syndrome in my knees, I can no longer climb like I use to, I need to sell off my gear. Yes, this breaks my heart to do this, but I have to.

I am still going to be out there, and will still climb a little, but mostly in the gym. I am keeping a few things that will allow me to do some climbing and repelling, like my static lines, an atc, couple pair of shoes, harness and a few carabiners. But the rest must go.

Check out what rock climbing gear I have for sale. (Click on the image to enlarge, then click again to zoom and see the full labeled image)

My first choice of buyers is the rock climbers of Arkansas. After that I will put the rest on E-Bay to sell.

A lot of the trad stuff was barely used, some of my cams have never been in a crack. Seems I found myself buying trad gear and only sport or TR climbing. Crazy right? All of the carabiners are in good shape, no messed up gates.

Any questions, click here to contact Nick at ArkansasClimbing.com.

My set of sixteen quick draws show the most use, but are still in great shape (I take care of my gear, it takes care of me). I even have two dynamic ropes that have never been used, one 50 meter 10.5mm and one 60 meter 10.5mm.

I have already sold my dirt bike because of my body issues. It seems like I can no longer do the fun things in life, and it sucks! Well at least the high impact things. I still have my kayak and can still hunt and fish.

This e-mail came in from a traveler from the West Coast. She (if you are a guy, sorry) is in need of a climbing partner Tuesday (March 23rd) or Wednesday (March 24th) at Mt. Magazine.

She wrote…

I’m stopping through Arkansas and am interested in climbing at Mt. Magazine but I don’t have a partner to climb with. What’s the best way to get in touch with climbers to partner up with or just tag along this Tuesday or Wednesday? Is there also bouldering there? Can I easily find people to climb with if I just go to the park?

Thanks for all your help!

If anyone is going to be in the area climbing let me know and I will pass the word.
